There's nothing softball about this utility player. Joins the Stallions after being rejected by the New Zealand White Sox. Their loss is our gain.
Will Evans
Also known as Wild Will this bloke is the hardest working man in football. Born in Marton Will is not afraid to down a pint the night before, watch out for his legendary right boot from 30m out. This coupled with his mystery weapon.....the ability to let one rip at a moments notice and gas his opposition. Also nominated as team videographer a documentary is in the peipleine...."Eden Stallions Journey to the Top."
Owen Gartside
Another signing from the Premier League, this journeyman veteran striker has moved down 5 divisions in a desperate attempt to find his level... skill and fitness wise.
Bevan Kidd
The raging Bull, what more can be said. A man who in his prime was captain of the U-10 Hong Kong rep team and has been compared to the white Jonah Lomu. Also Kapiti Mana number 2 in tennis and was a member of the Scot's 1st XV...the same school that bread such top players such as Bill Cabuvati. This man has pedigree written all over him.....not to mention owning a pedigree cat - Toby who is rumoured to become official team mascot. A dodgy elbow and knee wont stop this man making a smooth transition to the roundball game and becoming a rock in goal. No relation to the infamous Kidd brothers.
Dave Kidd
A no nonsense defender battle hardened on the mean streets of South Auckland. As he's shown before, he'll happily break his own foot rather than let you past with the ball.
Rob Kidd
The Stallions' marquee signing from the Premier League, this attacking midfielder will bring plenty of goals and yellow cards from all over the pitch with swearing and shin pad violations a speciality.
Jamie McClellan
Behind Jamie’s nice guy demeanor, and humble approach to life lies the experience of a seasoned soccer player. Hemi’s roots and meticulous coaching from Wellington College where he was associated with well know stars such as Simon Elliot will be vital.
Hamish McKegg
The Stallions' answer to Jeff Wilson. Having starred for King Hitters, one of Auckland's leading indoor cricket teams, Keggie now switches codes and brings his legendary talents to the football pitch.
Hamish McKinlay
Hamish’s motivational speeches as a high level manager at Vodafone, and hilarity in his many wedding speeches are harmonised with football where he is a real leader. Positivity is the name of the game with Hamish, and his multi faceted game mirrors the juggling act he performs in his everyday life.
Hamish Miller
This tireless midfielder is the ultimate team player. After a big win he'll selflessly hold his hands up and take full credit.
Markos Pantelides
Straight from the school of hard knocks aka Wainui, Markos is the epitome of the immigrant go-getter. Flying tackles from the rugby field will be revolutionised to football. Nothing will stop this Greek battering ram.
Hamish Syrett
Despite Hamish’s injury that has kept him from the top 100 WTA tennis rankings over the last few years, Hamish has not given up on representing at a high level of sport, thus his signing for the Eden Stallions (for a song!). He is also a qualified Osteopath, so despite this art being fairly airy fairy, and not very useful, he will double as our medic.
Robbie Tindall
Aside from being the most handsome bloke in the team, Robbie is in fact a round ball New Zealand representative, and his stories of last minute international goals inspirational. Although he hasn’t covered himself in glory with work ethic in his chosen career, football is different. Try subbing this live-wire off!
